So there are a lot of bogus entries in the EFI selection list of your bootmenu.
If you have this error “The disk drive for /tmp is not ready or not present” it is related to mountall utility bug which tries to mount the temp folder before it has been cleared of leftovers from previous boot.
So you installed Ubuntu, and the first time you boot it the OS says “unknown filesystem” and displays a grub rescue prompt.
I showed in the Russian section of my channel a copy of Windows 7 which was not reinstalled for a year and half, and booted to desktop in under 14 seconds.
If you ever created a bootable disc, you should be happy to forget about that! Yes, no more primary partitions, MBR, bootsectors and all that crap. Now you just copy the needed files, and this is called EFI / UEFI, don’t mix with Fifa and UEFA.
