Power lines in Asia

Something I wanted to show you for a long time now.

Asian power grids. The poles almost bend under the weight of all those cables. It looks like everyone has his own power grid going to his house, instead of one powerful line with smaller offtakes, like normal countries do. Why do Asian do it this way – no one can tell, I specifically asked this a couple times. The connections are usually so amateur and bad, they keep you wondering why haven’t they electrocuted half the population yet. Well, probably when you have that much people breeding uncontrollably, death from household hazards like electricity is one way to control population growth. Bad connections cause constant buzz of overloaded power lines. See this rattling transformer? It buzzes 24/7. Just imagine having your windows open on this ever sizzling power lines.
