Abort shutdown timer in Windows
January 9, 2014 Windows

Many of you watched my instruction how to perform a timed shutdown of your PC.

But some ask how to turn off this timer if you don’t need it anymore or it was set by mistake. It’s very simple. Run elevated command prompt and enter this command
shutdown.exe -a
You can use / instead of -. a is short for abort. This will disable the timer and your PC won’t shutdown.
