If you like myself are fucking tired of Firefox blocking vulnerable extensions – in fact it does that each time a new plugin version update appears, and you have to reinstall them again and again.
The funny part is just if a release is new it does not necessarily mean all vulnerabilities are fixed and it has no added bugs. Latest release is not always better then your current one, its just a new update. Anyway, thankfully Firefox has not completely turned to just another Chrome or Safari yet, and you still can customize at least some behavior. Open about:config and look for Extensions.blocklist.enabled. Most probably it is set to true, toggle it to false. And that’s it, Firefox won’t block your vulnerable plugins anymore, so you can update them anytime you want.
