Alienware Command Center is a proprietary piece of software for Dell Alienware laptops.
If you’re encountering the warning “No supported AlienFX devices were detected,” don’t worry—there’s a simple fix. Most solutions you’ll find online suggest rebooting your PC through the Windows Start menu restart option or uninstalling and reinstalling the Command Center. However, you don’t have to do any of that.
The solution is straightforward. Open the “Apps & Features” menu in Windows, locate Alienware Command Center, and click on “Advanced Options.” On the next screen, press “Reset.” This will clear all misconfigurations in the software, and the next time you launch it, everything should work perfectly.
Please note, this solution only works for Windows 10. If you are using Windows 11 and have this error, you need a newer version of the software which Dell does not provide for laptops it considers “obsolete”.
