So you decided to delete Counter-Strike 2, which is now in beta and launches through Counter-Strike: GO to save those 15 gigs of precious disk space.
Most users will just delete Counter-Strike: GO completely, including Counter-Strike 2, and then re-download Counter-Strike: GO. But if you don’t want to waste your precious time and only want to delete Counter-Strike 2, here’s what you need to do:
Open the properties of Counter-Strike: GO in Steam.
Navigate to the DLC section.
Uncheck “Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test.”
As soon as you press “X” on this window, Counter-Strike 2 will be deleted from your Counter-Strike: GO installation.
When Counter-Strike 2 finally moves from beta to full release, those who participated in the beta test will likely need to follow the same procedure to free up disk space.
