VNC is a great cross-platform remote access solution. If you have a display-less linux box, you probably would like it to auto-start VNC at boot.
One of the ways to do that is editing the Linux startup script. Edit the /etc/rс.local file to add the following before exit 0 line:
sudo -b -H -u your_username /usr/bin/vncserver
On next reboot, the VNC server should start automatically.
