If you get a blank screen after turning on your Playstation 3, do not panic just yet. Try resetting your video settings.
Do do that, make sure your PS3 is in standby. Now press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep.
You video settings are reset to default now, and the system will prompt you for new ones. Set them according to your display capabilities.
