If you ever wanted to get a cheap small bluetooth USB dongle like this you’d better not. They are CSR-based and come with trial blueSoleil software. But even that doesn’t help.
Phones do not connect. Headsets keep disconnecting and the sound quality is very poor. And even keyboards, mice and other HIDs, paired after much struggle, won’t reconnect on reboot. You’ll have to pair them again!
Tried that both under Windows 7 and Ubuntu, no luck. Get a proper Broadcomm dongle, don’t waste your time of cheap stuff from China.
